During this time, I have been working at the Saint Francis Memorial Hospital Burn Unit, at Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital Adult Urgent Care, and in family/geriatric practice at West Marin Medical Center. After receiving a BS in Health Education I served in the Peace Corps in the Ivory Coast-West Africa for 2 years. Realizing during that time that I would miss clinical care if only doing health education I completed the Primary Health Program at Stanford as a Physician Assistant. I did my internship at Pt. Reyes Clinic and have continued to be a fill-in provider the last 12 years-now rotating between the 3 clinics on a regular basis as needed. I like the collaborative atmosphere among providers and feel we all try to give the best care possible for everyone. With decrease in funding sources this can be a challenge at times, but I feel taking the time to listen to patients, making a plan with their input to address their current health problem and giving them ideas on preventive health measures goes a long way in patient satisfaction. I grew up in a small town-Ferndale-so appreciate the benefits of community support that we experience in West Marin. I enjoy reading, hiking, river rafti
