I was raised in Oklahoma, but I always knew my true home would lie elsewhere. After completing an undergraduate degree in Biology with a Neuroscience emphasis, medical school was the next step. I recognized that by becoming a family practitioner I could join my love of the mysteries of the biologic organism with my appreciation for the existential beauty of the human person.
Family practice seemed the one place where the medical profession best utilized traits I found strongest in myself—a listening ear and an open heart.
I began my medical practice in a small town in Humboldt County, where, for eight years, I offered full spectrum family and community care, integrative medicine techniques, and end-of-life care. I prize the relationships I developed over this time and am committed to a lifelong practice of listening and learning from my patients.
Wendi works in Point Reyes every other Saturday, in Bolinas Thursday, Friday and every other Tuesday and Monday in Stinson Beach. She looks forward to seeing you at your next appointment.
